Henderson Gate Pros is a licensed and insured gate contractor with over 18 years of experience designing, fabricating, automating, and repairing driveway gates for residential and commercial properties in Henderson, NV.

Our work covers automatic driveway gates and electric gate openers, custom wrought iron and ornamental steel gates, powder-coated aluminum gates, cedar and composite wood gates on welded steel frames, vinyl gates, single and dual swing gates, rolling and cantilever sliding gates, garage security gates and roll-down grilles, custom estate entrances, security fencing, parking barrier arms, and in-house welding and fabrication.

On the electronics side we install, program, and repair gate operators from LiftMaster, DoorKing, FAAC, Ramset, and Mighty Mule, plus telephone entry systems, keypads, card and fob readers, video intercoms, exit loops and loop detectors, photo-eye sensors, solar power kits, battery backup, and Knox box fire-department access.

Every operator we hang is set to UL 325 safety compliance with the correct Class I through Class IV classification for the property, two independent means of entrapment protection wired and tested, and force limits dialed in rather than cranked to maximum.

We specify UV-stable polyester powder coat over hot-dip galvanizing or a zinc-rich primer, because ultraviolet exposure is what actually kills a finish in southern Nevada, and we build in 14-gauge and 16-gauge steel tube depending on span and operator load rather than defaulting to the thinnest material that passes a glance.

Henderson Gate Pros is licensed, insured, and bonded, a member of the International Door Association, and every gate, operator, and access system we install carries a written workmanship warranty.

Our Gate Services in Henderson, NV

Driveway Gates in Henderson, NV

Driveway Gates

Most Henderson homes that want a driveway gate already sit inside a gated community. That changes the question entirely.

Swing Gates in Henderson, NV

Swing Gates

A swing gate at a shared entry is a governance object as much as a mechanical one. Where the leaf travels, who it can reach, and who answers for it are all settled long before anyone chooses a hinge.

Sliding & Rolling Gates in Henderson, NV

Sliding & Rolling Gates

At a shared entrance, a slide gate is chosen for one thing: throughput. How quickly the opening clears decides whether residents complain, and resident complaints are what put a gate onto a board agenda.

Wrought Iron Gates in Henderson, NV

Wrought Iron Gates

Inside a community an iron gate is rarely a blank sheet. It has to satisfy a standard somebody else wrote, sit beside gates that already exist, and pass a review by people who had no part in designing it.

Ornamental Steel Gates in Henderson, NV

Ornamental Steel Gates

Ornamental steel is what most communities in the Las Vegas Valley actually have, and the reason is procurement rather than taste. It is the product that can be replaced in ones and twos for decades without the entrance ever looking patched.

Aluminum Gates in Henderson, NV

Aluminum Gates

Aluminum is a reserve-study argument, not an aesthetic one. Boards that move to it are usually not buying a better-looking gate.

Wood Gates in Henderson, NV

Wood Gates

Wood in a Henderson community is nearly always a courtyard, side yard or patio gate, and that is exactly where it belongs. At a shared entrance it is the wrong product for reasons that have nothing to do with how it weathers.

Vinyl & Composite Gates in Henderson, NV

Vinyl & Composite Gates

Vinyl is a permissions question here more than a product question. Whether you may install it is decided by your community's standards, and in a good number of Henderson associations the answer at the front of the house is no.

Cantilever Slide Gates in Henderson, NV

Cantilever Slide Gates

A cantilever slide gets chosen at a Henderson entrance for a reason a board understands better than a fabricator does. It puts nothing on the ground for residents to walk across and nothing on the ground for anybody to maintain.

Automatic Gate Openers & Operators in Henderson, NV

Automatic Gate Openers & Operators

At a community entrance the operator is not really a motor, it is a service relationship. Somebody has to hold the programming and somebody has to be called when it stops, and both of those people change every few years.

Access Control & Keypads in Henderson, NV

Access Control & Keypads

A shared gate code is not access control. It is a rumor.

Telephone Entry & Video Intercoms in Henderson, NV

Telephone Entry & Video Intercoms

A telephone entry unit is the part of a community's access system residents actually touch and the part a management company spends the most time administering. The directory is the product.

Safety Sensors & UL 325 Compliance in Henderson, NV

Safety Sensors & UL 325 Compliance

On a community gate, UL 325 compliance is not only a technical requirement. It is the association's exposure, and the board is the party that will be asked to demonstrate it was met.

Solar Gate Motors & Battery Backup in Henderson, NV

Solar Gate Motors & Battery Backup

Solar gets specified at community gates less for energy reasons than because of what running power out to a secondary entrance actually involves. The obstacle is rarely a technical one.

Custom & Estate Gates in Henderson, NV

Custom & Estate Gates

A custom gate inside a Henderson community is a design project with a reviewer attached. The board is not your client, but it is the party that has to say yes, and designing without that in mind burns months.

Garage Gate Installation in Henderson, NV

Garage Gate Installation

A parking garage gate in a Henderson condominium or mid-rise is an access control system with a door attached. Almost every problem a board raises about it turns out to be a credentialing problem rather than a mechanical one.

Security Fencing & Perimeter in Henderson, NV

Security Fencing & Perimeter

A gated community is only as controlled as its least controlled opening, and it is almost never the main gate. Boards spend on the entrance everybody sees and inherit their real exposure everywhere else along the line.

Commercial & Industrial Security Gates in Henderson, NV

Commercial & Industrial Security Gates

On a commercial property, gate access is a tenant administration problem. The equipment is straightforward.

Pedestrian & Walk Gates in Henderson, NV

Pedestrian & Walk Gates

The pedestrian gate is the weak point of nearly every gated community we work in, and it is also the cheapest item on the property. Those two facts are closely related.

Welding & Gate Fabrication in Henderson, NV

Welding & Gate Fabrication

Most of our shop work in the Valley exists to solve one problem for a community: keeping twenty gates looking like twenty of the same gate, when the original manufacturer stopped making them a decade ago. That is a matching job.

About Henderson Gate Pros in Henderson, NV

Henderson Gate Pros has spent over 18 years building, automating, and rescuing gates across Henderson and the rest of the Las Vegas Valley. We started as a small metal shop taking whatever welding work came through the door and grew the way a gate should be built: slowly, square, and on a footing that does not move.

Today we handle automatic driveway gates, custom wrought iron and ornamental steel entrances, cantilever slide gates, garage security gates, parking barrier arms, and access control for gated communities, and we still run every job with our own crews instead of handing your property to a subcontractor you have never met.

What actually sets us apart here is that we build for the conditions rather than pretending they do not exist. Everything gets blasted, primed, and finished in a UV-stable powder coat because high-desert sun is the thing that kills a gate finish.

Slide gate rollers get sealed bearings and covered track where the design allows, because fine dust in an open V-track chews rollers apart. Operator boards go in sealed enclosures. Posts get set deep in concrete rather than in a shallow footing that heaves and drops the gate a half inch out of square.

As a licensed, insured, and bonded contractor and a member of the International Door Association, we back every gate, operator, and access system with a written workmanship warranty.

We also know how to work inside an architectural review process without wasting your summer. Anthem, Green Valley, Seven Hills and the rest of the master-planned neighborhoods have committees with opinions about height, color, and style, and we build the drawing package that gets approved the first time.

From wrought iron and ornamental steel to aluminum, wood, vinyl, sliding, swing, cantilever, and estate gates, plus operators, keypads, telephone entry, safety sensors, solar power, and security fencing, Henderson Gate Pros is one phone call for an entrance that looks sharp and works every single time you pull up to it. The on-site estimate is always free.

How It Works

01

1. Design & site check

We measure the opening, shoot the slope, find out what power you actually have at the gate, and check whether your community has an architectural review committee that has to see the drawing first. You get an itemized quote, not a number scribbled on a business card.

02

2. Fabrication & finish

We cut and weld the gate in our own shop, blast and prime it, then apply a UV-stable powder coat inside and out. Posts get set deep in concrete and we trench conduit for the operator, exit loop, and access control while the gate is being built.

03

3. Install & automate

We hang the gate, mount and align the operator, wire the keypad, exit loop, and photo eyes, then program remotes and set travel and force limits to UL 325. Boards go in sealed enclosures so blowing grit stays out of the electronics.

04

4. Test & hand off

We cycle the gate dozens of times, test entrapment protection with a real obstruction, walk you through the manual release and battery backup, and leave you the manuals instead of taking them with us.

What Henderson Customers Say

★★★★★
They built a dual swing iron gate for our place and wired the keypad and exit loop. The crew set the posts deep and the gate still closes dead even a year later. No sag, no drift.
Curtis M. · Boulder City
★★★★★
Our slide gate had been grinding for months. They found the rollers packed solid with dust, replaced them with sealed-bearing rollers, and swept and covered the track. It runs quiet now.
Renee T. · Spring Valley
★★★★★
Got three bids for an automatic gate. These were the only people who checked the slope and the power at the gate before quoting. The solar operator has not missed a cycle.
Anthony D. · Summerlin South
★★★★★
The old operator board died and the gate sat open all weekend. They diagnosed it, replaced the board on the same visit, and reprogrammed every remote and the keypad codes.
Priya S. · Whitney
★★★★★
Our HOA had two cantilever gates cycling badly and a call box that could no longer complete a call. They converted it to cellular, replaced the rollers, and gave us a written safety report.
Doug R. · Enterprise
★★★★★
The horizontal slat gate they fabricated looks better than the drawing. They also caught that our photo eyes had never been wired correctly by the previous company and fixed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a driveway gate cost in Henderson?

Most driveway gates here run $2,500 to $8,000 and up installed, before automation. A single plain aluminum or tube-steel swing gate sits at the low end, and a wide dual-swing custom iron entrance sits at the top. Automation adds real money: the opener hardware alone is $500 to $1,500, and a single swing operator installed with power, photo eyes, and a keypad typically lands between $1,800 and $4,500. We give you a firm, itemized number after a free on-site measure.

Do I need HOA approval for a gate in Henderson?

In most of Henderson's master-planned communities, yes. Anthem, Green Valley, Seven Hills and similar neighborhoods run architectural review committees that approve height, color, style, and setback before anything gets built. We put together the drawing and finish specification you submit, and we would rather wait three weeks for an approval than build something you get told to take down.

What is UL 325 and does my gate have to meet it?

UL 325 is the safety standard for powered gate operators. It requires two independent means of entrapment protection on most installations, the correct Class I through Class IV classification for the property type, and warning signage. Every operator we install is set up to it, and if we find your existing gate running with the photo eyes bypassed, we will tell you plainly rather than quietly leave it that way.

Why do gate finishes fail faster in southern Nevada than elsewhere?

Ultraviolet exposure, not rain. High-desert UV chalks and fades a coating from the outside while daily thermal cycling works the film against the steel underneath. A cheap air-dry enamel can look tired inside two summers. A UV-stable polyester powder coat over a properly blasted and primed surface holds color far longer, and that difference is worth more here than almost anywhere else in the country.

Why does blowing dust matter for an automatic gate?

Because grit is abrasive and it goes everywhere. Fine desert dust packs into slide-gate V-track and roller bearings, works into hinge barrels, and settles on control boards and limit switches inside operator housings. The fix is unglamorous and effective: sealed enclosures, greased sealed-bearing rollers, covered track where the design allows, and a track sweep twice a year. Most of the slide gates we are called out to rescue failed from dust, not from the motor giving up.

What happens to my gate in a power outage?

With a battery backup, it keeps working for a limited number of cycles, usually enough to get through a day. Without one, you use the manual release to disconnect the operator and push the gate by hand. Battery backup runs $150 to $500 and is one of the cheapest sensible upgrades on the list.
